Bulb, Battery and Ballast Recycling

You are invited to come to Coral Reef Aquarium on Saturday July 10th from 2 – 4 PM and bring us your Metal Halide & T5 bulbs (please don't bring them in early as the store can't store these). Bring us your ballasts and even your household batteries. We will recycle them free of charge to both you and the store.

Why are we doing this? Many hobbyist don’t have a way to dispose of their old bulbs and ballasts other than saving them up for their annual hazardous waste day (and then hope they remember to take them down). Having them sit around your house, bulbs can get broken, batteries and ballasts can leak.
